I was involved in a car accident on the way to hospital whilst in labour at the beginning of November 2024.
I was met at the hospital but a student midwife called Sam & a midwife called Poppy, I felt so relaxed by the both of them immediately.
Throughout my delivery they were both so attentive & comforting making sure they were telling me what they were doing and any way they were able to help me and make me more comfortable.
The student midwife Sam went above and beyond in helping me in the shower after given birth.
These two midwife’s are an asset to any hospital, it’s all well and good having the knowledge but to have the compassion these two had really goes further.
I just want them to both know that they are incredible & I appreciate them helping me bring my little boy in to the world.
