"I have never come across a nicer team in all my life"

I got my gallbladder removed via keyhole surgery in mid-November 2024 in daisy hill.

The care was absolutely amazing both in the elective ward, in theatres and recovery. I have never come across a nicer team in all my life.

Big shout out to Mel the nurse, Simone the healthcare assistant and Melissa the student nurse who looked after me before, during and after my surgery. There were many other names and faces of staff who I would like to thank as they were all simply amazing.

Thank you to the Theatre team who kept the atmosphere friendly and light and who did an absolutely terrific job and to Mr McArdle and Sarah from general surgery who couldn’t have been nicer.

To my two anaesthetists thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all angels thank you all so much.

I will not hesitate to attend Daisy hill again when in need of any care in the future, in fact I may be opting for it. Keep up the great work guys!
