In February I was involved in an accident. As a result I lost half of my leg. I passed through a couple of hospitals until eventually I ended up in Musgrove Park Hospital and as hospital experiences go, this was amazing!
Firstly the physios were very helpful, enthusiastic and encouraging. They taught me how to walk again.
Secondly the O.T.s taught me how to deal with everyday problems I might come across in my home.
Thirdly the nursing staff were very loving and caring even after working long hours.
But there was one thing that stood out for me in Musgrove and that was Horatio's Garden. It was the one place where it was peaceful and tranquil.
Everyone was welcomed into the garden and there were even facilities for tea/coffee making when we had visitors.
Everyone who experienced the garden took that peace home with them.
Thank you for all you did for me and allowing me to share the garden with my friends and family.
