"Excellent treatment and care at the Liver Clinic"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

My husband is attending the clinic at Victoria and is having excellent treatment from consultant Dr Swan and her staff, particularly nurse Christine  who has been very good at calling after appointments to check on my husband. 

He also has had to call a few times with concerns or ask advice and always get called back immediately. Dr Swan a busy consultant but took the time to have a very caring conversation with myself and I thank her for that.

The Victoria Infirmary has been our local hospital over the years for many health issues and all the staff in all the areas (x-ray, clinics , minor injuries, endoscopy unit, porters, NHS volunteers) are always helpful and welcoming.

I have heard some patients complaining but being a retired NHS employee I know the difficulties dealing with all the patients and how hard it is to remain calm. The Victoria staff are outstanding and always deal with all patients in a caring professional manner. All doing much more than their job requires, a credit to our 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 NHS.
