"Feeling empowered by antenatal classes"

About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Community Midwifery

(as a service user),

Had two great antenatal classes with midwives Rhianna and Natalie at East bank health centre in Glasgow. Before the class I had no knowledge about labour, child birth and pain relief options.

They made a scary topic really fun and interactive which has made me feel at ease and feeling empowered about labour now I know what options are available. I really appreciated the effort they put in with the carved pumpkins and trick or treat nappy game.

Thanks for some great classes, I think it has made a big difference to how I'll cope with labour and navigating a newborn!

Dear PaulaG

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback about the antenatal classes you attended. I am pleased you found these useful and interactive and that they provided you with the knowledge and information you needed for your birth preparations.

I will share your kind comments with Rhianna and Natalie. They will be delighted to hear that about how you felt the classes have made a difference to your preparations for your baby

May I wish you and your family well

Best Wishes

Elaine Drennan
