"Treated with care and respect at opthalmology"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

My cataract op didn't go according to plan, and I have had several follow up eye clinic appointments as an outpatient. I cannot fault the attention that has been lavished on me. I have been greeted with smiles, listened to with sensitivity, and treated with care and respect. I appreciate being kept informed of where I am in the queue, and of what will be happening next and with whom. The staff are lovely and have been very reassuring at a time when I have felt vulnerable.

Dear falcobk37

Thank you for taking the time to send in your kind feedback. I will ensure that staff are made aware of how positive they have made your experience at such a scary time.

Many thanks

Mel
