"Attending A&E Ulster Hospital"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

I would like to thank all the staff at A&E Ulster Hospital for the care shown to my husband at this worrying time. My husband was really struggling with  symptoms which were causing us concern and nursing staff and doctors showed compassion and understanding while giving explanations of treatment being carried out.

A&E was extremely busy and staff showed compassion and patience.

We were in A&E for 24hrs and as I listened to many patients complaining as a retired nurse I defended the staff and hospital.  I would like to thank Dr McLaughlin for her compassionate care and full explanation during our stay.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Maddie49

Thank you for taking the time to tell us of you and your husband's experience when attending the Ulster ED. Your kind comments and support of staff is very much appreciated and I will share them with the staff.

I do hope your husband is continuing to recover.

Best wishes to you both

Jenny

ED Lead Nurse
