"A wonderful experience"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

What a lovely experience I had with Janet. I had to rush up to minor injuries as I had cut my finger open. I am heavily pregnant and was really anxious and nervous.

Since the moment Janet introduced herself I felt at ease. She done such a terrific job and made sure I was ok and comfortable at all times.

She sorted me out in no time and I couldn’t even feel a thing!

She also discussed all the aftercare thoroughly to make sure I understood what to do in the next upcoming days to make sure the stitches and wound heals as it should.

Thanks a lot Janet it was so lovely meeting you & thank you for a wonderful experience, taking the time out to show compassion and care. Xx

Dear Clairem149,

thank you so much for taking the time to submit such a positive care opinion after your recent visit to our minor injury unit. That sounded quite a painful injury and I can imagine how anxious you must have been. I am delighted that Janet made you feel at ease, reassured you and went over all your wound care thoroughly. I will pass on your lovely comments to Janet, she works extremely hard and will be pleased to receive such positive feed back - thank you.

with very kind regards,

Karen
