I had an appointment with Dr Niblock, who informed me that the PSA was now below 0 and that there was no trace of cancer. We talked about the treatment and the aftermath, and the follow-up which will keep me monitored and safe.
Just as it took a while to get used to the news that I had cancer, it seems to be taking a while to get used to the idea that I no longer do. I'm sure I appeared completely underwhelmed when I was told, but that's changing now.
To the team, I say that I can never thank you enough for all the superlatives I've recently used. I know I'll continue to get the very best of care in the future. Thank you so much.
On a personal note, Bob, please give your wife my best regards and tell her Mr Grumpy is asking for her. I still wear the T shirt my wife pointedly pointed out to me to buy. As you said, all of you, you 'got me through it'. Indeed you did.
Be well, be safe. Mr Grumpy.
