I recently attended the Pre-Assessment Clinic at Stracathro, for my upcoming surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for a more reassuring experience. From the moment I arrived, the process was smooth and comforting. Emma, the healthcare support worker, and Paris, the student nurse, were both fantastic—friendly, empathetic, and attentive throughout. Emma was also excellent at taking bloods, making the process easy and painless. Paris was outstanding as well, and I have no doubt she’ll make a brilliant nurse when she qualifies.
I was then introduced to Polly, the nurse who guided me through the pre-assessment checklist, with her new boss Jenny shadowing. Both of them took the time to address my concerns, putting my nerves about surgery at ease, for which I am hugely grateful. Overall, it was a fantastic and friendly experience. Thank you to everyone involved!
