"An outstanding physiotherapist"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as a service user),

After years of being told by NHS GPs that lower back pain over 40 is common/normal (and given the impression it was something we just have to live with), I was fortunate enough to be referred to Physiotherapy @ Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock.

Elaine is quite simply superb at what she does. Kind, caring, motivational, empathetic, knowledgeable, professional - and quite honestly one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met!

She gave me the confidence and belief to fight back from simply having to resign myself to the pain and inactivity and lack of fitness I had pretty much told myself was permanent.

The way she interacts - with care whilst also instilling hope - is inspirational. And life altering.

She is so humble (and definitely won’t want any recognition) but I would be very grateful if her fantastic work could be commended and recognised please.

She is a credit to her team, to the hospital and to the NHS.

Thank you so much, Elaine 👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dear BonEcosse

With apologies for the delay in responding to your lovely feedback, I would like to thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your healthcare experience.

I am delighted to hear that you received such professional and supportive care from our staff. To describe your physiotherapist, Elaine, as kind, caring, motivational, empathetic, knowledgeable, professional is high praise indeed. I am so glad that she has been able to give you confidence and a belief in your own abilities to help you deal your lower back pain. This is a lovely example of the patient centred care we always aim to deliver.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to ensure your lovely comments are shared with the wider Team and with Elaine in particular.

Please accept my best wishes and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind regards

Pamela
