"Discharged with nothing in place"

About: Alexandra Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

A relative was taken by ambulance to A&E in Redditch. She was then discharged in the evening. She is in her 80’s, lives alone and lives 20 or more miles away from the hospital.

No safeguarding in place to make sure she had transport and whether she would be safe on her own that night. Very disappointing.
