"Fantastic for patients"

About: Seafield Hospital / Community Hub

(as a service user),

Hello, thought I would like to say how convenient the Hub in Dufftown is when bloods are needed for ARI.

I get bloods done for haematology every 4-6 weeks and it saves me a 50 mile round trip to Dr Grays hospital to have this done. I now have an 8 mile trip.

Fantastic for patients and is it even better in the winter when the snow comes. It would be really sad if this service ended due to funding.

Thanks

Dear Maggie721,

Thank you for taking the time to post on Care Opinion. It is always lovely to hear from patients and the positive feedback really gives staff a boost.

The community hubs are indeed a fantastic service to have locally – reducing the mileage, and stress, for patients who get bloods taken on a regular basis. Thank you for sharing how much it means to you. I’ll makes sure this is shared with everyone involved in providing the service.

Take care,

Helen
