I was admitted recently to Ward 8c. I have been in and out of hospital for the last ten months and have been to several wards within the QEUH. I can honestly say that every member of staff on Ward 8c, regardless of designation, is caring, kind and respectful.
I was never ignored or made to feel that I was causing more work for staff. Dr's would always explain what was going on and would not leave you wondering what your care plan was going to be.
I hope if I ever have to be readmitted that I will be fortunate to come back here. Ward 8c has staff who remember the values they signed up to uphold. Thank you.
