"having the tools to cope"

About: Western Health & Social Care Trust / Post Covid Syndrome Service

(as the patient),

My Long Covid group is about being connected with other long COVID suffers knowing you're not on your own and you're not going mad. Getting support. Have an understanding of the conditions. Advice about breathing on how to manage. Learning how to pace and not pushing through on the day when you feel false energy. Having access with services available. Get a occupational therapist at hand with very helpful information and also having one to one consultation. Being listen to and not dismissive. Now we have a group which is great. I have learned a lot and now I'm somewhat confident in explaining about my conditions to others. Having the tools to cope with my new life.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. We are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed your experience with the post covid service and as such feel more informed about your condition, more confident explaining it to others and managing your symptoms.
