My mum had a massive stroke and died at the weekend. The team on ward 7 including the palliative care team were absolutely superb and made the whole horrible experience bearable for my sister and I as she died. They cared beautifully for my Mum and all my family. A massive thank you. You are all angels.

My name is Catherine and part of my role is responding to posts on Care Opinion.

I am very sorry to hear your mum passed away on ward 7 recently, sincere condolences for your loss.

It is reassuring to hear that you felt the team on ward 7 and the palliative care team were absolutely superb and made what was a horrible experience more bearable.

As a Trust we strive to provide a high level of care and patient well being and value all feedback, positive or negative, as a way to drive improvements to our services.
