"Having balance problems due to multiple sclerosis"

About: Dene Barton Community Unit / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

Due to having problems with my balance due to having multiple sclerosis my MS Nurse referred me to the physiotherapist.

I have had several appointments with Rachel who has helped me learn new exercises to help strengthen my core muscles to help to either improve or stabilise my problems with balance.

Rachel listened to what difficulties I had and worked with me to plan exercises that would help and that fit into my daily routine with work and family.

My appointments with Rachel have helped me to feel positive about what I am able to do to help me to keep positive in what I can do to keep my mobility stable and always supporting and listening to everything I said.

All staff I have come into contact with when visiting Physiotherapy outpatients at Dene Barton are very welcoming making the overall experience a positive one.
