"I feel so much better for it"

About: Community Respiratory Care / Community Respiratory Service (Armagh & Dungannon) Community Respiratory Care / COPD Clinic Armagh

(as the patient),

I have Pulmonary Sarcoidosis. I recently went along to Pulmonary Rehab for 6 weeks. I was not feeling I could do much as my walking and exercise was not great. I'm so thankful that I went as the nurses and staff were so encouraging they helped me to get up and move more and do my exercises daily. I feel so much better for it.

Every week we had something different from healthy eating, better breathing, how to use our Inhalers, Chest Heart and stroke advice. I would recommend this course to anyone with respiratory conditions. I do plan to keep up the exercise and am very thankful for all the help received.

Hello Emily

Thankyou so much for sending in that lovely feedback for the A&D Community Respiratory Team who deliver the pulmonary rehabilitation classes.

Well done for completing the course and engaging with all it involved - this is definitely the first step in regaining confidence in what you can do. Dealing with a Respiratory Condition can be very challenging and we see those challenges our patients face every day. Making any difference to patient care and Quality of life is what we are all about and the staff find this very motivating. Please continue to reach out to the team for support when required.

I will be delighted to pass this onto the team.

Many thanks

Anne-Marie Campbell
