My partner and I actively began our fertility journey in March 2021, however sadly had a very early loss in November 2021. Due to the NHS guidelines we had to wait a further year before being referred to Ayrshire Fertility Unit, with the first consultation occurring in April 2023.
From then things moved pretty quickly, with various scans/tests being carried out, which inevitably gave us an 'unexplained infertility' diagnosis.
Fast forward to May 2024, we had 2 consecutive IUI attempts, however both were unsuccessful. The saying 'third time lucky' seemed to work for us as, lo and behold, we're now 10 weeks pregnant!
We can't thank Alison, Amy and Lindsay enough for all their help throughout this stressful time. Their knowledge, compassion and overall friendliness shown was extraordinary and will forever be appreciated.
They were also very accommodating to my shift work and nothing was ever any bother.
If anyone has any doubts about what to expect during their fertility journey, let it be known you're in great hands and will be looked after by the best team!
Thank you all so much ❤️
