"Induction and labour"

About: Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73) / Labour suite Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73) / Maternity care (Ward 72)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to ward 72 for an induction which was a very lengthy process and all the staff were amazing explaining everything at each stage things were happening.

I was taken to the labour suit on three separate occasions due to drops in baby’s heart rate and all the staff were amazing at monitoring as well as explaining everything.

Both students who were with me and baby provided the most high quality of care. One student who went to theatre with me when we were unsure whether we were going ahead with a c section was amazing, reassured me throughout and monitored me and baby in recovery.

All the midwives that seen me were so caring and compassionate and you could really tell they love doing their job.

Dear Starfish1

Thank you so much in taking time to give us feedback.

I am so pleased to hear that despite a long induction of labour process you felt all the staff where very caring and compassionate.

This positive feedback will be passed on to all the staff as it is lovely to get positive feedback and acknowledgement that they are caring and compassionate and try their best each day.

Thank you again.
