"I got the 5 star treatment"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Clinical Intervention Unit

(as the patient),

I had to go to queen Margaret hospital in Dunfermline for a procedure .

Appointment was for 8.15. I got there at 8 and was welcomed by friendly faces .

Was taken to a chair and told that was where my 3 hour procedure would take place.

Student nurse Sharmine and a nurse Lisa both were very friendly and caring during the whole procedure at the intervention unit.

Explained everything as they went along.

Offered teas and coffee many times. Offered me extra pillows as I had a recent fall and hurt my back .

Extremely caring and full of empathy. I came out very happy very satisfied .

We don’t appreciate our NHS enough. We should not mourn about it.

There are wonderful, caring, loyal, friendly people there to help us make us welcome and comfortable during our stay in hospital.

It was 3 hours but the 3 hours went by very quickly .

Even thou they were mega busy the whole staff tried to make conversation on the passing

The lovely team smiled every time I lifted my head .

It’s a busy unit but not one person complained .

Each nurse that was in charge of patients for different procedures was happily talking away and making people feel at ease .

I’m proud to say I got the 5 star treatment at the hospital.

Thank you intervention unit team.

I highly appreciate your kindness loyalty, dedication, friendliness and attention to detail.

Keep up the good work please .

We do appreciate our lovely NHS

Thank you a million times.
