I have been asking for months for support with my hearing aids and have just been told they can fine tune it. I have since spoken to someone in ent who referred for a Baha to be greeted with fustrstion and negative remarks. To then be told

Of another option that would be better but then it wouldn't help anyway. Upon asking to speak to the team they haven't phoned me. Thus is a regular occurrence as I am waiting for months at a time for any appointments. Back in 2014 they were certified as they did not have waiting lists, which is still mentioned on their website. I have waited since July for an appointment and even asking if I could have a hearing test I was still told no. I was intislly referres to ENT as a routine dispite the suspected diagnosis, meaning I had to then go private.

I just would really consider having any support here and if you can find an alternative option for help with your hearing.

As you comment is anonymous it is difficult for us to comment further, we therefore encourage you to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) either via 0161 778 5665 between 09:30 hours and 16:30 hours Monday to Friday, or email: pals@nca.nhs.uk. Your care episode can then be identified, and we can investigate your concerns properly. Alternatively, Audiology team have an email address of salford.audiology@nca.nhs.uk , the team can arrange an appointment for them to be seen.

In the meantime, we have forwarded your comments to the senior leadership team for them to review alongside any incorrect information that might be displayed on the website.
