"The value of CARE"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Outpatients

(as the patient),

I learned about CARE some time ago and realised its value to me, as a patient, and to the clinicians. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm for IT based things isn't matched by my ability but I tried CARE anyway. Suffice to say that I had to give it up as a bad job as it all appeared to be outside of my computer comfort zone.

Nearly a year later, I received an email alerting me to a some test results and I decided to give CARE another go. I was quickly in trouble again so called the help line where a very friendly and helpful lady gave me the pointers I needed.

Feeling more confident, I tried again with great success and also found the wealth of additional information provided with my results (once you know how to access it!)

Thanks to that kind lady, I'm really pleased to have CARE with its many benefits.

Hi

Many thanks for taking the time to write this review. I manage the MyCare Patient Portal Helpdesk and I have fed back your kind words to the team which have been gratefully received. We are aware that, for many, IT can be daunting even when the intentions are to make life easier so we are glad that you are now finally able to reap the benefits of MyCare.

Kind regards.

Jane
