"Heart Failure Nurse and humble pie"

About: Community Services / Winchester Rural South District Nursing

(as the patient),

I wasn’t told I had to see a heart failure nurse until my first appointment. I was very negative about it & really didn’t want to be there.

However I soon had to eat humble pie. My Heart Failure Nurse was so helpful & at times I don’t know what I would have done without her. I have had to phone a few times for help & advice. I have had to leave a message & I’m so pleased to say I was always phoned back & within a reasonable time frame.

My nurse has always gone above & beyond to help me & I am forever grateful.
