"No appointments available"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency Hasland Medical Centre

(as the patient),

I went to the doctors in July to make an appointment and I was told to come back the next morning  @ 8am. I did and was told I would get an email or phone message with my appointment , I got a message to say go away unless you are life threatening. A few days later I was on the floor with pancreatitis and kept in hospital for 3 nights.

More recently I had a bad chest infection.  I managed to get an appointment but when I got there I met a nurse who told me they were not qualified to give me some antibiotics and to make another appointment. The person at the reception said I could not book another one there was nothing available , so what do you do .

Went to A &E,  good old Chessy A & E saw me & fixed me.  In my 70s, this is a joke.
