About: Carseview Centre / Electro Convulsive Therapy Service (ECT) Carseview Centre / Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit Community Mental Health Services / South Community Mental Health Team

(as the patient),

I had psychotic depression and was admitted to the psychiatric unit for six months. I needed to be sectioned and also underwent ECT. I was suffering from delusional beliefs and was unable to care for myself.

I owe my recovery to where I am now to the care and treatment I received at Carseview and also following discharge from Adrian my CPN from Gowanlea Seaton Rd Arbroath, who visited me at home for two years.

Adrian gave me support and advice and even came with me to an outpatient psychiatrist appointment.
