I had a Gynae pelvic MRI this morning at the Western General Hospital with Laura Superintendent Radiographer and Annette Imaging Assistant assisting me. 

Can I just say that Annette and Laura were so patient with me, due to a previous bad experience in an MRI scanner I had a bit of claustrophobia and was nervous and anxious today before the scan. Laura reassured me and was good in helping me get the scan done and Annette stood with me for the full 25 min scan as I was so anxious, if it wasn’t for Annette’s kindness and support I’d probably not have done the scan.

Annette is brilliant at her job, she is very calm and reassuring and has a lot of time for patients, she is a ray of sunshine! Thank you so much for helping me get my scan done Laura and especially Annette who stayed with me, we are so lucky to have staff like this within our wonderful NHS.

Thank you so much again Annette and Laura, I really appreciate it.

Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to write about the positive experience you had in our department. We understand that it is sometimes a stressful time coming in for a scan and I am so happy to hear you felt supported and cared for throughout.
