"They deserve all the credit and praise that one can give them"

About: Rapid Response Teams / Rapid response team Derry/ Londonderry

(as a service user),

From my first visit to this unit to receive IV Antibiotics.

I can't praise the work, friendliness and the professionalism of all the staff enough.

The amount of work of and the number of patients that I've seen them attend to on a daily basis in the unit, not to mention in the community is amazing.

They deserve all the credit and praise that one can give them.

Can I say that the poor exterior of the building and the surrounding buildings do not reflect the sterling work that goes on inside.

I would urge the trust to please reflect on this point and urgently do something to tidy and clean the exterior of the buildings.

Hello Intensityek87,

My name is Tina McCauley and I am clinical coordinator with the rapid response team in Gransha Park.

Thank you so much for the very positive feedback and for taking the time to post your feedback on the Care Opinion platform.

I have shared your praise with the team and they are delighted that you have recognized their work, friendliness and professionalism.

I fully take on board your reflections and feelings of the outer buildings. Unfortunately these buildings are very old and the hub is based in the middle of two large storage areas. Although we regularly get windows and outer paths cleaned it probably does little to the outer aesthetic of the building.I will happily pass on your concerns to our estates department, it is certainly food for thought!

Going forward I would hope that any new community healthcare buildings would have allocated space for the rapid response community teams.

Thank you again for your considered feedback.

Kind Regards

Tina
