"I feel happy when I'm here"

About: Hawthorns Adult Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It is good.  I manage the phones twice a week, it's something different.

I enjoy communicating with people on the phone. I answer the phone and I pass it to Tanya.

I go on outings to the cinema, Christmas dinner. I have been told that we're going to a pantomime and dinner together.  It's not the Grand Opera House it's in The Mill.  I'm looking forward to going to it.

I feel happy when I'm here.  The staff are good.  I can talk to Thomas if I need to.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story.

I am delighted to read that you feel happy attending Hawthorns Adult Centre and that you are enjoying the trips out. Managing the phones is a very important role and I am sure the staff welcome your help and assistance with this.

I am pleased that you feel supported by the staff and I will ensure your story is shared with the specific staff you have mentioned and the team. I hope you have a lovely time at the pantomime and enjoy your dinner together.

Kind regards

Helen
