As a result of some dental work that went wrong, I contracted Sepsis. Part of the problem was that a root from an extracted tooth remained in my gum as my dentist was unable to remove it.
After hospital treatment to deal with the Sepsis, I was referred to Glasgow Dental Hospital, where I received treatment from two of the most courteous, friendly and most importantly, professional young women that it has been my pleasure to meet
The dentist, a young lady whose name I unfortunately did not catch, talked me through my recent medical experiences and explained the process to me comprehensively in layman’s terms. She was assisted by another lovely young lady, not sure if she is a dental student or nurse, whose name was Mirren.
The process itself, other than the very minor discomfort of an initial injection, was completely painless and carried out so expeditiously that I was barely aware that it had been done.
This is probably routine to these ladies, but I just want to place on record that their courtesy, general demeanour and efficiency was beyond superb.
I would be so grateful if the hospital management could be advised (although they probably already know!) about what gems they have in these young medical professionals.
With kindest regards.
