"It made such a difference to our whole family"

My father had been very ill and was left in agony lying supine in his bed for 6 weeks, the community phlebotomist (Glasgow Southside) that came to take my fathers bloods at home looked at my father and seen his condition and supported his admission to hospital which lead to new diagnosis and new treatment.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to the phlebotomist as up until that point we had been back and forth on multiple attempts to get my father the right care after a wrong diagnosis. I apologise I do not have a name as my father was completely unaware of his surroundings and it was my sister who was at home with him that day.

The care and support my father received that day from the phlebotomist was essential to my father making a recovery. Thank you so much to the phlebotomist for acknowledging our concerns and making them heard, you have made such a difference to our whole family and I believe you saved my father from crippling pain and misery.
