"Kindness, incredible expertise and professionalism"

I would like to pass on my sincere gratitude and appreciation for both the antenatal and postnatal care I received from the community midwifery team.

From the outset, each midwife, admin personnel and Health Care Assistant I encountered treated me with such kindness and respect and ensured that both my daughter and I remained safe throughout my pregnancy. The atmosphere created within the department was always peaceful and calming, with clinics running exceptionally efficiently on each visit, with appropriate and thorough care provided.

Following a challenging delivery, I needed some additional care and support. Each midwife that visited me at my home showed such kindness, compassion and reassurance and helped me start my journey to recovery. For this both my husband and I are incredibly grateful.

I would particularly like to thank Sharon, Shona, Winnie and Louise for their care and support during both my antenatal and postnatal periods. Each is a credit to the community midwifery team and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde as a whole. I wish for them to know that their kindness, incredible expertise and professionalism has not gone unnoticed and is much appreciated by my family and I.
