"Delighted with result of cataract surgery"

I attended the Day Surgery Unit at Hairmyres Hospital for cataract surgery.  

I was apprehensive about it as I only have sight in one eye so a lot depended on this going well but I have to say I am delighted with the result as it is so much better than I had hoped and I can see everything much clearer than I have done for the past six months.

I cannot express my thanks enough to the amazing surgical team who performed the operation but also to the Nurse Marie who looked after me so well before and after the procedure.
