The GP I saw last week (new to me) gave me so much time (I’d saved up 3 issues to talk to him about). He has referred me for a couple of tests which will give me reassurance - and if not, then a way forward. He explained everything clearly and has suggested that we review any potential issues in a follow-up meeting rather than me going for a general health check outside this practice as I had been invited to do - which I am very happy to comply with. I felt properly listened to and cared for. Thank you!
