About: Dame Carol Detoxification Service

(as a service user),

I felt very supported even throughout the night during my initial medical detox.

I was extremely intoxicated when I arrived and my detox was hard but I was very well cared for by kind and thoughtful nurses. My stay has been very therapeutic generally and I have felt very calm.

The activities have been really good and I enjoyed the meditation in particular.

The meds have been delivered professionally and I have always felt that I was under very experienced care.
