"The care and attention was first class"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended the A&E department at Glasgow's RHC as my wee boy split his head open at school. The care and attention he received was first class. My little boy was extremely nervous and the nurses put him at ease. I wanted to thank Natalie the nurse practitioner and her colleague who I didn’t catch her name. We are so lucky to have such wonderful people in the NHS. Thank you so much ❤️

Dear Kirstabella

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re so pleased to hear that your wee boy received such excellent care at the A&E department of the Royal Hospital for Children, and that the nurses were able to put him at ease during what must have been a very distressing time.

It's wonderful to know that Nurse Practitioner Natalie and her colleague helped to calm your son and provided the care and attention he needed. We will make sure your kind words are passed on to them, as well as the rest of the team involved in your son’s care.

We are incredibly proud of our staff, and it means so much to know that their kindness and professionalism made a difference to you and your family. We are grateful for your appreciation and are glad to have been able to help.

We wish your son a speedy recovery and, once again, thank you for your kind message.

Kind regards

Kevin
