"Late appointments"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

I am meant to have regular eye checks due to optic nerve swelling however my appointments are always late and I've ended up having to chase them myself. I appreciate everywhere is busy, but when it's something urgent it's very stressful to have to wait an extra month+ for the check up. Secretary is very hard to get hold of and rarely returns the call unless I've left multiple messages.  Reception team are very helpful though.
