"The staff were kindly able to accommodate the change"

I really appreciate the great work of all the staff and how they were able to accommodate my needs.

I did have a bit of a difficulty as we were not informed that when getting my infusion in a new location, normally someone would not be able to sit with me which is quite difficult for me.

The staff were kindly able to accommodate the change of plan so that someone could do so on short notice. Ideally it would be brilliant if the infusion unit could allow a carer to sit with people for accessibility purposes.

Thanks again to infusion unit for being able to accommodate this without being told by referrer in advance.

Dear Neuco

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us your experience, feedback is always appreciated. Sorry you had difficulty when you first arrived, and that you did not realise that it was usual for patients to attend their treatment alone.

I have asked the administrative team to add this information into our appointment letter, to make this clearer for patients in the future.

Unfortunately, due to environment and volume of patients that we have attending on a daily basis we cannot always accommodate an accompanying person, we do however make exceptions if there is a need for a carer.

It is always nice for the staff to hear that they have done “great work.” Thank you for that and I will pass it onto the team involved with your care.
