A Compliment for Sam, My Employment Specialist

I have struggled with my mental health and work related issues for as long as I can remember. The idea of meeting yet another person to offer employment support filled me with anxiety and nervousness. However, from the moment I met Sam, all those fears melted away. Never before have I encountered someone so genuinely caring and professional, someone who has the ability to remove any sense of fear or obstacle in such a short time.

Over the past year, Sam’s constant, unwavering support, encouragement, and kindness have made an incredible difference in my life. I truly believe I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish half the things I’ve done without him by my side. Whether it’s accompanying me to appointments, training, or interviews, Sam has consistently gone above and beyond. His dedication and commitment are astounding, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble for him.

Since receiving support, I have joined classes, training and have been securing interviews, for the first time in years!

I have learned to trust again, but more importantly, I am beginning to believe in myself. Sam is an absolute credit to the NHS, and I feel fortunate to have had him work with me. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to receive his support.
