"I could not have been in better hands"

I recently underwent an angiogram at Ninewells, and I have to say that from the moment I arrived in the Clinical Investigation unit for my morning appointment to the time I was pronounced ready to be discharged that evening, I could not have been in better hands.

The CIU nurses Amanda and Michelle were charged with looking after me and they were brilliant. They were so friendly and efficient. The staff at the catheter laboratory nearby, where the procedure took place were just as friendly and very professional.

Before long I was back in CIU and spent a few hours waiting for my pressure cuff to be ready to be removed.  I even got fed dinner while waiting which I was not expecting. All in all everything ran very smoothly.
