I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the care that I received during my pregnancy journey.

I received excellent antenatal care from the community midwife team at Largs (in particular Beth) and felt listened to and heard. I developed pre-eclampsia and this was confirmed when I attended the maternity day unit - again the midwife’s and health care assistants were so kind and professional.

When admitted to the ward for induction of labour I received excellent care and when on the labour ward the midwife Jill was superb. She put me and my husband at ease but was also professional and open to hearing what I wanted or was concerned about.

The post natal care in the ward and the community was also superb. I would say to women having their baby in Ayrshire to relax as they are in good hands! Thank you to all the team involved as you gave us such a positive experience!
