"My experience of the NHS and cancer"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology Crosshouse Hospital / Medical Oncology

(as the patient),

I just want to praise all the staff and everyone who made my stay at Crosshouse hospital so wonderful.

I had cancer and had to have a hysterectomy. It was a frightening time, full of anxiety, but the staff - everyone, the cleaners, the nurses, the consultants, everyone who's there was friendly, helpful, informative and efficient. I cannot thank them enough.

The media portrays the NHS as broken. I cannot agree. I have been treated so well-  promptly and professionally but all throughout with kindness and support.

I do hope the staff read this and feel valued.. You certainly are. My heartfelt thanks.
