I visited the clinic by invitation in early October having experienced a TIA twelve days before. The organisation of my visit was wonderful as I was subjected to at least five tests and examinations and everyone involved was so kind and helpful.
I would like to give special thanks to the lady who escorted us between the various test rooms explaining all the time what was to happen next. I suspect that she was also scheduling each test on the basis of availability of facilities. I think that her name was Cristina, and she was very good at her job, and made the whole experience a pleasure.
Finally, I was delighted to find that all of the test results had been quickly collated and delivered to the consultant, Dr. Spiers who we saw without delay.
The interview with Dr. Spiers could not have been more pleasant and informative. I would like to thank her too, for her kindness and patience. She was able to answer all of our questions, and describe in detail the probable cause of the TIA and the reasons for the choice of proposed medication.
The whole process took just over three hours from the opening time of the clinic. to the end of the consultation, with almost no waiting time. Quite brilliant.
