About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

It has taken over 12 months for me to get an appointment for my hand due to being sent to the wrong dept. I was supposed to be referred to the correct dept but I had to keep asking them to follow it up.

Like I said it took over 12 months to be seen. In that time my right hand has got worse.

It’s getting sorted now so I am pleased about that

I am glad to hear that it is being sorted out and am sorry for any inconvenience and distress caused. It would be helpful if you could speak to our PALS team on 01246 512640 to raise a concern, so that we could investigate how the error happened and try to ensure that this doesn't happen again.
