About: University Hospital Monklands / Ear, Nose & Throat (Ward 9)

(as the patient),

Thank you to the ENT dept at Monklands Hospital including Mr Kang, Mr Rogers (his registrar) and Mel the nurse specialist. 

Also  a big thank you to the day surgery unit and all the staff that work there.

Being an NHS staff member myself but in a completely different specialty I found it very difficult being a patient.

The staff were able to put me at ease and kept me updated along the entire journey. 

The communication was excellent over the last few months and the care and compassion by staff on the day of my surgery was amazing.  It is a real privilege to work in the NHS knowing how great the staff that looked after me are.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience attending for ENT surgery and to thank the ENT and Day Surgery Teams for putting you at ease.

I am aware how anxious a time it is coming in for surgery and am glad that the teams were able to support you through this and make it a bit easier.

I will make sure your lovely feedback is passed on to both ENT and Day Surgery teams.
