"I knew I never just had a family nurse but I made a friend"

About: Children's Specialist Health Services / Family Nurse Partnership

(as a parent/guardian),

I met with Jane when I was pregnant with my son.

I instantly felt trust with her she was amazing from start to finish. It takes a while for me to warm up to people, but with jane it didn’t, I knew I never just had a family nurse but I made a friend.

She cared so much about my son, his health care and development, but she also listened to me about my struggles and also helped me with them.  I knew I could open up to her about anything, she was always very kind hearted she always tried her absolute best and hardest into helping our every needs.

I couldn’t have asked for a better family nurse she was a lot more to me than that she was amazing and I will never forget the help she gave me. She helped me become a better person and a better mother to my child and for that I am forever grateful to the family nurse partnership but even more grateful for jane.

Thank you so much for everything you have done for us.

Thank you Charl2k04for getting in touch to let us know about your experience with our service. It is always lovely to hear about the positive impact our Family Nurses have on the lives of young women and their lovely babies that they support during pregnancy and first 2 years.. I am so pleased to hear how much you valued your relationship with Jane as your Family Nurse over the past two and half years, and also appreciated all her guidance and support with regards to your own health and well being, as well as the care and attention she paid to your son's health needs and development.
