"10 hrs wait"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

Arrived via ambulance at 4.10pm. At 0230am I decided to self discharge as I was informed they only had one doctor working in A&E

Hi

My name is Catherine and part of my role is responding to posts on Care Opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback, I am very sorry to hear of the wait in A & E. I do hope you received follow up assessment for the issue you attended for.

There is pressure on all Accident & Emergency Departments, not just here in Bradford, but across the NHS and this can lead to longer waits.

If you would like us to investigate further I would encourage you to contact our Patient Experience Service (PALS) on 01274 364810 or by emailing patient.experience@bthft.nhs.uk. They will then be able to look into this for you.

Thank you for raising your concern.

As a Trust we strive to provide a high level of care and patient well being and value all feedback, positive or negative, as a way to drive improvements to our services.

Kind regards

Catherine Healy
