"Cardiac investigations were thorough and well explained"

I was referred to cardiac investigation at Altnagelvin, due to sudden very high blood pressure.

On arrival I was greeted by the lovely Fiona who carried out a very thorough examination and question session, she made the whole worrying process so easy and answered all of my questions also, explaining everything in a way that was very understandable. I must admit my blood pressure dropped that day as she made me feel so relaxed and also relieved when she told me I’m in good health.

I’m going through a very aggressive ulcerative colitis flare up at the same time which has elevated my blood pressure due to high infection. On returning home she then rang me with more good news concerning the x ray and thorough blood tests that were carried out.

So glad I went, so now I’ve only my colitis episode to get through and any fears of a dodgy ticker have been put to rest.

Overall experience was good. Fiona was totally professional, very funny and definitely made the experience a very pleasant one.
