"The whole staff team were amazing"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was taken into the Royal Hospital for Children A&E dept with a dislocated knee. On arrival we were met with a full team of Doctors, students and a ENP nurse named Natalie, who stayed with us for the full time.

The whole staff team were amazing, they made myself and my son feel at ease during what was a traumatic experience and they were so prompt and efficient.

Natalie the ENP in particular was amazing and spent so much time with us both ensuring we were informed and that my son was comfortable. I would love to say thank you to her, she’s an amazing nurse and an asset to the NHS.

Amazing team!

Dear Sarjs78

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful story. We are incredibly grateful to hear about the positive experience you and your son had at the Royal Hospital for Children A&E Department. It's heart warming to know that our team, including the doctors, students, and especially Natalie, the ENP nurse, were able to provide the care and support you needed during what must have been a difficult time.

We are proud to have dedicated professionals like Natalie who go above and beyond to ensure patients and their families feel informed, reassured, and well looked after. Your kind words will certainly be passed along to Natalie and the entire team, who will be delighted to know they made a difference.

Kind regards

Kevin
