About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

Attended Day Surgery at Wishaw for surgery to a broken wrist 

A huge thank you to all the team involved who collectively made what could have been a stressful event totally the opposite 

I felt like a valued person - not a number or a task to do - the really cared 

The Nurses - Margaret / Yvonne and Melissa - great empathy , tips and friendly chat

The Anethetists - Colin, Michael and Briiony - reassuring and talked me through every step - so I got a great sleep 

The Surgeons - Steven, Hannah & Nicole - took time to really explain surgery and outcomes . Saw me before and after the Op - got real confidence they did a fab job 

Really appreciated all the work you do -amazing skills , amazing people 🧡

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

It's always great to hear when we have provided a good service and that the whole team contributed to you being well informed, reassured and less stressed during this normally stressful time.

I will share your comments with the staff as it is always good to get feedback on the service that we provide and hope that you recover well from your surgery.
